Martinsville, IN (7/23/2012) – The 2012 Blingstar AMA MAXC ATV Racing Series made its fifth stop of the ten round series in Martinsville, IN for the Copperhead Row ATV Race. Young and upcoming Open A Class racer Brycen Neal charged hard to win the ATV overall despite starting in the second row behind the AA class. Ryan Lane would take his third consecutive win of the season in the AA Class and was joined on the podium with Jay Humphrey and Mike Phlum. After almost a month of 90 degree temperatures, state wide burn bans, and a water drought, Mother Nature finally blessed Indiana with almost perfect weather for the fifth round of the MAXC racing series. A low morning fog and condensation kept dust to a minimum for the morning classes, however with rising temperatures the track began to dry out for the final race of the day; which was the Adult ATV class. The virgin 7.5 mile course consisted of several open field sections, dry creek bed crossings, fire roads, and many hill climbs.
