Welcome to the 2013 mid America Race Season! MAXC has an exciting ten race schedule for this year. MAXC will race all around Indiana with all the races being within a two and a half our drive from the Indianapolis area.
MAXC will again be hosting the Riley Hospital Miracle Trail Race. This race will have several other riding organizations involved, we will be working with Abate of Indiana along with DIRT, and several other riding clubs in the area. All proceeds from this race will be donated to the Riley Foundation, we are very excited to be involved with this race. The race will be held at LCRP near Bedford, MAXC is working with ABATE and DIRT on new trails and repairing of old trails. Several people from the local Indiana riding clubs have worked all winter on making this a top notch riding park. The Saturday before the race will be an open ride day for the families and racers. MAXC racers will be providing rides for the Riley Kids and other kids. There will be organized county road rides as well as trail rides, there will be many door prize drawings, along with a free lunch on Saturday. Saturday evening will feature live music at the main stage of the park; this will be an awesome event for all families, casual riders and racers. The park will prohibit open riding on Sunday to host the Miracle Trail Race.
MAXC will be racing at several new locations this season with a portion of them being virgin terrain. We will also be returning to a few of last season’s locations.
MAXC will host ten rounds for 2013 with the best of nine counting for individual class points and for the overalls. One drop for both class points and overall points.
MAXC will again have Indy Moto as the trail Marshals, we appreciate their help in policing the race course during the race. MAXC will also have a few new sponsors for the 2013season; Maxxis will be on board with a racer contingency program, as well as being a series sponsor. Fly Racing gear and apparel will also be on board both with contingency and series sponsorship.
MAXC will once again be an American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) sanctioned series. AMA works on a lot of litigation issues for the off road riders, MAXC supports their efforts for the rights of youth riders as well as many other issues, rights for riding parks and the reclamation of riding on public ground.
